Now I still need the Epia LT board, which noone seems to have in stock until now plus hdd and ram.

You may ask "why this big case for a small epia board???"

Simple answer: I wanted a case, where I can mount an standard DVD drive, at least one hard disk and a card reader in the front. All of this fits on the Minuet case and I got it for 54 € including shipping (normal price is 80 € without shipping)!

I think till I get the Epia, I'll mount my Sempron 2400 in there for testing

ah, before I forget: YES, dual screen is supported for the CX700 chipset, drivers are available at Via! Though it seems like a big mess (new kernel, new MESA and so on), I'll give it a try.

Has already anyone tried the Via Epia LT Board with the optional LVDS/DVI module on Linux? As this board makes use of the Via CX700 chipset, dual screen should work, but does it work on Linux, esp. openSUSE (>= 10.2)?

Due to a security bug found some time ago in one of the DSL routers sold by T-Online, they block destination port 8085, which can/could be used as remote control port for the Speedport W700V.

Everyone owning such a router should install a new firmware (at least v1.16) available at T-Online.

Nevertheless blocking such a port is just plain silly, they sold the crap, they know, whom they sold them, contact them and go fix it, T-Online ^^

Today I bought a small 2.5" 60 GB harddisk for my homeserver as replacement for the (nearly unused) 80 GB 3.5" harddisk.

Now I need an adaptor from IDE + power to 2.5" connector and then I'll replace the old disk. Should save some more power and is still fast enough.
